The two-day specialist bicycle retail training event InfoTech continues its unique European success story in 2024. After a slow start to the post-corona era in the previous year, the number of participants increased significantly again in 2024. Almost 800 day tickets were sold in 2023, including digital subscriptions and exhibitor admissions. In 2024, 957 interested parties attended the Velosuisse bicycle supplier association's training event, which took place on January 15 and 16 at the Seminarhotel Sempachersee in Nottwil, LU. In addition to the 739 day tickets sold, 234 exhibitor tickets were sold (2 x 117 per day for the speakers); plus 16 digital-only subscriptions. This is because InfoTech was once again held as a hybrid event this year. A selected number of seminars were recorded and turned into webinars, which are still available to visitors on demand in the InfoTech Academy on the Velosuisse website.

Initial surveys have shown that visitors were satisfied with the wide range of topics on offer. Business management, legal, ethical, training, business succession and personnel management topics were covered; 306 in total. One of the highlights was the forum on Monday evening, where renowned speakers spoke about the importance of a suitable bicycle and mountain bike infrastructure for business development in the bicycle industry. At the subsequent MOTOREX aperitif and dinner, the topic was discussed in greater depth among industry representatives. A special software show with the six most important players in the industry was also an attraction. The next InfoTech will take place again on January 13 and 14, 2025 at the Seminarhotel Sempachersee in Nottwil.
